The Story is a bible-based experience we recommend to all those new to our ministry – believer and skeptic alike.
Through the 10 stories in the first series, we grow to understand God’s heart and passion for humanity and humanity’s devastating choice to turn from reliance on God to self-reliance. After humanity becomes alienated from God, we follow parallel stories; one in the physical human world and the other in the spiritual world we can’t see. We follow humans on their hapless journey of brokenness and in it grow to see how and why we have arrived at our current state of baseness. But at the same time we begin to realize God has not given up and there are signs of hope for humanity after all.
Through the 10 stories in the second series, we see God’s ultimate solution to humanity’s problem, revealed in the birth of the Messiah – the Savior of the world. Through stories of Jesus relationships and teachings, we gain a better understanding of God’s character. We hear of Jesus plan for human reconciliation and we also see a life lived that brings glory and honor to God – the way human life was meant to be lived. We are also introduced to the third person of the God-head; the Holy Spirit. We learn the Spirit will be left as a guide and power source for all of life’s circumstances, turning human weakness into the power of God.

Nothing will change the world more powerfully than the love of Christ shared with a world that so desperately needs it.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
Even a small light holds back darkness and a group of small lights can banish it completely.
Merely attending church doesn’t make you much of a church because sitting in a row, consuming church doesn’t make you very good at being the church.
If the wrongdoer has to do something to merit mercy, then it isn’t mercy.
By judging others we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are just as entitled to as we are.
You can’t build the future of the church on passionless, disengaged people. Nor can you build it on consumers.
The difference between humanity and all the rest of creation is that men and woman were made to relate directly with God.
Genuine spiritual knowledge lies in the union of the believer’s life with the truth of God.
To exist without the pursuit of God’s mission in the world is to exist as something other than the church.
Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.
